It is with love and sadness we share that Caitlin passed away on November 16, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Caitlin is survived by her parents Gordon and Karen (nee King), her brother Michael (Leanne), her niece Blake and her nephew Reid, and her brother Tyler (Erica). She was loved by many close friends, colleagues, and family near and far.
Caitlin was predeceased by her grandparents James Pederson and Flora Pederson (nee Dunford) and her grandparents Stanley and Marjorie King (nee Spence).
Caitlin was born on February 1, 1985 in Swift Current, SK. A zest for life and sarcasm were traits that were well rooted from that very day. Her gift of humour, selflessness and her caring manner were absolute treasures that many had the opportunity to experience.
Her positive outlook on life was contagious. While her cancer journey was difficult, she had the confidence that regardless of what happened, she had the courage and determination to face whatever was thrown at her. Caitlin meant so much to so many and she was a fierce warrior that will be remembered with love.
A Celebration of Caitlin’s Life will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. in the Regina Hungarian Club – Balaton Ballroom, 1925 McAra Street, Regina, SK. To honour Caitlin, wear your favourite pair of Converse shoes and your favourite sweatshirt. Caitlin had requested that school supplies be donated in her honour to local community schools. To support Caitlin’s request, donations by cash, gift cards or purchased school supplies will be accepted at her celebration.

Sending our condolences to Caitlin’s family. Caitlin was our son’s daycare provider when he attended Stepping Stones. She was so amazing with Rogan and was so good at her job. When we moved she gifted our son with their favourite book that they’d read together at daycare, ‘Pete the Cat and his four groovy buttons’. Tonight we choose to read it in Caitlin’s honour and we will always remember her every time we read this book.
