Frei, Dan (Daniel)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dan (Daniel) Frei on May 15, 2023 in Regina, SK. Dan passed away peacefully at the age of 75 years surrounded by his family.
Dan will be dearly missed by his wife of 53 years, Lois; their three children Tasha (Gene) Connors, Jamie Frei and Delaine (Geno) Saravia; grandsons Elijah, Seth, Grady, Noah and Gavin; his brother Bob Frei; his sisters Lucille Deschambault and Darlene (Arnie) Shalovelo; and many extended family members. He was predeceased by his parents Leo and Mary Frei (Scharger); his brothers and sisters Andy Frei, Emma Weinberger, Eugene Frei, Jack Frei and Gwen Hunt.
Dan grew up in Lajord, SK and moved to Regina where he lived and worked his whole life including 30 years at MacDonald’s Consolidated and 20 years with CWS Distribution. He spent countless hours in his yard and his garage always with a project and will be fondly remembered there by all who knew him.
Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. in St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church Hall, 5020 - 7th Avenue, Regina, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association of Saskatchewan.

Dear Lois and family, I am so sorry to be reading about Danny’s passing. I have just seen this, and feel so bad that his celebration was today and I was unaware of it.
