Debra Lynn Zimmer (nee Gyorfi) passed away peacefully in the love of God and with family by her side at the age of 64 years on September 19, 2023 at the Indian Head Hospital, Indian Head, Saskatchewan.
Deb was predeceased by her husband, Brian Zimmer; her parents James Gyorfi and Evelyn Young; and her brother Ken Gyorfi.
Left to cherish her memory are her three sons David, Darcy, and Jason and grandchildren Brooklyn, Hayli, Carson, Owen and Gavin; stepsons Jessie, Cory and Ryan; her siblings Darwin (Marie-Anne), Lyle (Val), Leanne, Carmela (Tom Schaeffer), Lori (Dave Hakl), Curtis (Laurel); stepfather Clarence Young; aunts, uncles and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her family is grateful for the exceptional care she received from all the staff and EMS at the Indian Head Hospital.
Funeral Mass celebrating Deb’s life will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church, Sedley, Saskatchewan with Revered Louis Abello, Celebrant. Interment in Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Cemetery, Sedley, Saskatchewan. Lunch to follow in the Sedley Gym Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may made to Indian Head Hospital Foundation, Box 1547, Indian Head, Saskatchewan, S0G 2K0 or to a charity of your choice.
