Norma Berner (nee Mintzler), late of Regina, SK passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at the age of 93. Norma is survived by her daughter Brenda (Laurent) Toupin; grandchildren Devin (Diane) Herriot, Brittany (Adam) Herriot and Adam Herriot; great-grandchildren Arson, Yael, Axson, William and Addison; her sisters Ida Seeck, Linda (Leonard) Meyer and Leona (Ed) Solonynko; her brother Ben (Dorine) Mintzler; sister-in-law Phylis Mintzler; brother-in-law Mervin (Darlene) Berner; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Norma was predeceased by her husband Walter; son Brian and infant son Dale; parents Jacob and Lydia Mintzler; her two brothers George and Eric (Norma); her sister Viola (Jim) Schriener; sister-in-law Ruth (Clarence) Scheller; and brothers-in-law Hubert Seeck and Ernie Berner.

Norma came from a large family and enjoyed the many gatherings they shared together. Family was an extremely important part of her life as well as her church family. She loved sewing, square dancing and enjoyed tending her garden when she was on the farm near Pense, SK. Norma cherished her grandchildren and spoiled them with her delicious baking whenever they visited.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in Christ Lutheran Church, 4825 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK with Pastor Lynn Robertson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Norma’s name to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan.
