May 12, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Paul Gagnon, on May 12, 2023 in Regina, Saskatchewan. Paul passed away at the age of 59 years and had been living with liver disease and cancer. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his children in the comfort of his home, according to his wishes.
Paul was predeceased by his parents Rosaire and Madeleine (Bienvenue) Gagnon and his brother Bernard. He will be dearly missed by his brothers Claude (Lynda) and Pierre (Denyse); his three children Elise (Arica), Joel (Carla) and Martin; the mother of his children Adrienne Bilodeau and his entire extended family.
Paul was born on April 2, 1964 in Matheson, Ontario and grew up in Timmins, Ontario. A talented musician, he received his Bachelors of Music from the University of Ottawa in 1988. Shortly after, he began his nearly thirty-year long career in the Insurance Industry. In 1997, he moved to Regina and has called it home ever since.
Paul will be deeply missed by all his family and friends; his spirit will remain with those he loved.
A celebration of life will be held at Le Bistro du Carrefour des Plaines, 3850 Hillsdale Street, Regina, Saskatchewan on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at 12:30 p.m.

My sincere condolences to Paul’s family. I worked with Paul for many years and he was a person you could always count on for good advice. I would say he was a “foodie” who loved to check out all the snacks and treats that were around the office. Then sit and have a good conversation. He often teased me about coming from a French family yet I didn’t speak French! He was a wonderful friend and he will be missed.

I had the pleasure of knowing Paul for many years as a fellow Underwriter and coffee buddy. I have such admiration for the kindness and patience he showed for everyone he spoke to. And he was always able to bring a smile to your face with his unique sense of humour. We always were kept up to date on his children's accomplishments - he was a proud father. Condolences to his family.

Mes sincères sympathies à toute la famille. Je garde de bons souvenirs de Paul à partir de la p'tite école. C'est lui qui est le plus responsable pour mon lien avec la guitare. Repose en paix mon homme!
